Rights

  • 1. Engaging in activities related to the work in an employment relationship and/or pursuing education as long as the multiple Stay Permit has been completed,
  • 2. Entering and leaving the territory of Indonesia as long as the Re-entry Permit is still valid,
  • 3. Engaging in activities related to tourism, and visiting family or friends.

Obligation

  • 1. Obeying the laws and regulations,
  • 2. Respecting customs, culture, and local wisdom
  • 3. Having sufficient living expenses while in Indonesia.

Prohibition

  • 1. Residing in the Indonesian territory beyond the stay permit period,
  • 2. Engaging in the sale of goods or services,
  • 3. Receiving compensation, wages, or equivalent from individuals or corporations in Indonesia, except through the completed multiple stay permit to perform a job in employment relationships.

Visa Application Requirements Requirements:

General requirements:

    1. National passport that is valid for at least 6 months;
    2. Application letter from Indonesian citizen husband/wife;
    3. Proof of having sufficient living expenses while in Indonesian territory;
    4. Recent colored passport photo.

Special Requirements:

    1. Proof of registration or recording to the Representative of the Republic of Indonesia/authorized agency in the field of civil registration and a marriage certificate that has been translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator* if the wedding ceremony took place outside the Indonesian territory;
    2. Marriage book or marriage certificate issued by the ministry or authorized institution if the wedding ceremony takes place in Indonesian territory.

Other Terms and Conditions

Stateless Foreign Nationals and Foreign Nationals holding travel documents (other than national passports) such as temporary passports, emergency passports, titre du voyage, certificate of identity, laissez-passer, or similar documents must provide a Re-Entry Permit to the country where the Visit Visa is applied for, along with a return ticket or onward ticket to another country (except for transportation crew). 

The visa validity period is 90 days from the date of issue. If not used within the timeframe, Foreign Nationals must apply for a new visa to enter Indonesia.

    3. Profile creation and verification;
    4. Approval and issuance of visa.
