Description of Activities

Visiting a specific place or engaging in activities within the context of official government duties.

Rights

  • 1.Engaging in activities related to government duties,
  • 2. Engaging in activities related to tourism, and visiting family or friends.

Obligation

  • 1. Obeying the laws and regulations,
  • 2. Respecting customs, culture, and local wisdom
  • 3. Having sufficient living expenses while in Indonesia.

Prohibition

  • 1. Residing in the Indonesian territory beyond the stay permit period
  • 2. Engaging in the sale of goods or services
  • 3. Receiving compensation, wages, or equivalent from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.

Visa Application Requirements Requirements:

  • 1. National passport that is valid for at least 6 months;
  • 2. Return ticket or onward ticket to continue the journey to another country (except for crew members of a conveyance who will stop to join a ship and continue the journey to another country)
  • 3.Proof of payment of immigration fees according to the provisions of laws and regulations.

Visa Types and Duration of Stay

Visa on Arrival 30 Days, extendable.

Visa Application Center

Immigration Checkpoints (airports, ports, or land borders) upon the arrival of Foreign Nationals.

Other Terms and Conditions

Stateless Foreign Nationals and Foreign Nationals holding travel documents (other than national passports) such as temporary passports, emergency passports, titre du voyage, certificate of identity, laissez-passer, or similar documents must provide a Re-Entry Permit to the country where the Visit Visa is applied for, along with a return ticket or onward ticket to another country (except for transportation crew). 

The visa validity period is 90 days from the date of issue. If not used within the timeframe, Foreign Nationals must apply for a new visa to enter Indonesia.

Visa Application and Issuance Process

Visa Application Mechanism: 

    1. The submission of visa application through the evisa.imigrasi.go.id application and immigration fee payment is made abroad;
    2. The submission of visa application through the evisa.imigrasi.go.id application is made abroad or before immigration inspection, and immigration fee payment is made in Indonesian territory; or 
    3. The submission of visa application and immigration fee payment is made in Indonesian territory. 

 

Granting Mechanism: 

    1. Verification of requirements completeness;
    2. Verification of immigration fee payment following the laws and regulations;
    3. Profile creation and verification;
    4. Approval;
    5. Affixing the Visit Visa sticker upon Arrival and/or Entry Stamp and Stay Permit for the Visit Visa holder upon Arrival on travel documents
